The Dickson Brothers Ranch occupied 650 acres at the bottom of Reclamation Road - the southern extension of Lakeville Highway - for about a century. In 2015 the levee protecting the ranch from the Bay was breached to complete the San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge.

Prior to flooding, every building and tree on the ranch had been removed. Hundreds of acres of pasture and hayfield were sculptured into tidal islands, channels, and mud flats. No trace remains of the ranch.

The images in this page and the Ranch tour are included in a book I produced for the family (available in hard cover on Amazon), which comprise the primary visual record of what once existed in this historic site.
