I am retired from almost everything:
- managing outdoors outfitting business: the North Face, Sierra Designs, and Trailwise
- executive management of Esprit, which remains a world fashion brand
- lobbying as a registered international trade lobbist in the U.S. Congress
- consulting as a technology executive advisor for clients on four continents
- research, writing, and teaching about information science concepts
- directing software methodolgy debvelopment for a national services company
- photograhy: fine arts, photo-journalism, and documentary
- woodworking for my own satisfaction and the pleasure of sharing
- parenting a son and daughter
- writing poetry and other works
My time passes visting with friends, writing, and dreaming of another visit to Maine.
