An "error" indicates a CDM flaw which prevents generation of the PDM. A "warning" notes a condition which may suggest a problem but does not block generation of the PDM. If your CDM is completely consistent with PowerDesigner's rules for generating the PDM, then there will be neither errors nor warnings.
Here we see how PowerDesigner imposes its logical modeling methodology through a series of validation checks against the CDM. While our initial conceptual model is meaningful with only entities and relationships, it is not yet a valid logical model and thus cannot be transformed into a physical model. PowerDesigner requires attribut in every entity. If it did not, the physical model could attempt to produce a database with empty tables.
